Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using MCP Pulse.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using MCP Pulse (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using MCP Pulse on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. What the Service is
MCP Pulse is a CLI reliability monitor for stdio-based MCP servers. It wraps your existing server process, captures JSON-RPC traffic locally, and computes a reliability score. The CLI is distributed as an npm package under the MIT licence.
The Service includes:
• The CLI tool (@mcppulse/cli)
• The web dashboard at mcp-pulse.com/dashboard (paid tiers)
• The public scoring badge at badge.mcp-pulse.com
• The anonymous benchmark dataset
The zero-transformation guarantee: the wrapper never modifies stdout. Your wrapped server behaves identically with and without MCP Pulse.
3. Free tier
The free tier is available to everyone, with no credit card required. It is limited to 500 monitored calls per month and 7-day data retention. We reserve the right to change free-tier limits with 30 days' notice.
4. Paid subscriptions
Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually through LemonSqueezy. Prices are displayed at mcp-pulse.com/#pricing.
• You may cancel at any time from your LemonSqueezy customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds for partial periods.
• Annual plans are not refundable after the first 14 days. Monthly plans are not refundable.
• If a payment fails, access to paid features is suspended until payment is resolved.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your subscription email.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use MCP Pulse to:
• Wrap a server you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithm for the purpose of artificially inflating public benchmark scores
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the CLI in a way that violates the MIT licence
• Use the Service in a way that causes excessive load on our Supabase or Cloudflare infrastructure (automated high-volume sync calls without a Team or higher licence)
6. Data and privacy
Your use of MCP Pulse is also governed by our Privacy Policy at mcp-pulse.com/privacy. The short version: on the free tier, no data leaves your machine. On paid tiers, only anonymous reliability scores are synced.
7. Intellectual property
The CLI source code is MIT licenced. You may fork, modify, and redistribute it under those terms.
The scoring methodology, benchmark dataset, and public scoring standard are proprietary to MCP Pulse and may not be reproduced or claimed as your own without attribution.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MCP PULSE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
